PCU-X11 WirelessHART Inclinometer

Inclinometer with a Floating Roof Mounting Bracket, optional Swivel Base, and fixed HCDW Sensor Probe

Overview

Syscor’s battery-powered PCU-X11 Inclinometer provides inclination monitoring primarily for aboveground storage tank (AST) floating roofs. The Inclinometer, an essential component of the FR-Tracker 2.0 safety system, also provides WirelessHART communication for up to two of Syscor’s optional HCDW Hydrocarbon Detection Probes with Water Level.

Applications:

Aboveground storage tank (AST) floating roof monitoring of:

Inclinometer Battery Options

The Inclinometer can be equipped with one or two HCD and/or HCDW sensor probes.

The 38Ah battery pack provides 10+ years of power depending on application and update rate.

In order for the inclination sensors to function correctly, the Inclinometer must be oriented with its battery compartment facing upwards. The Floating Roof Mounting Bracket will naturally support the Inclinometer in this orientation, but care must be taken with the Universal Mounting Bracket to orient the Inclinometer correctly.

For storage tank floating roof applications, right hand circular polarized antennas are recommended to alleviate multipath issues caused by metal obstructions.
